watched this movie at the fifth avenue theatre recently.. 

it was a really good movie but I don't know if I can enjoy these intense and depressing movies.  i'm glad we were watching it in a theatre or else I would have gotten up and done something else.

Friday night antipasto :) 

salami + pastrami, quail eggs, brie cheese, artichoke hearts, & crackers

was making some curry at home and asked J to bring me some potatoes if he had some and he brought over all these things to snack on too. *sigh :D 

i was very happy eating our late night snack + sipping some wine we brought back from a tiny winery in Kelowna.  so delicious..   had a really relaxing friday night watching some tv.

Spring planting

Ever since Jason got me my little garden last year, I've really enjoyed gardening.  So this year we're starting from the very beginning and growing herbs, vegetable from seedlings.

new sushi place to go to nearby

well Kura has actually been around for quite awhile but never tried cuz it always looked a bit intimidating with big heavy looking metal doors. but I'm so glad we tried this place cuz we discovered this!

it's sooo good.  it's such a good combo. 

 I can't actually remember what this was - complements of the sushi chef but it was so good with the lemon slice.  Must have this again.  Their barbequed mackerel was cooked just right too.  I'm very happy we found a sushi place in the neighbourhood.
