still wondering how I am going to pack everything but we had a good packing session late last night. thank goodness I have such wonderful friends. can't wait to finish getting all my things ready and just be excited for this!

I booked the flight two weeks ago and I think it's finally starting to sink in! 

Once in awhile I always feel like I want to to travel, explore new places, new things, new food, etc. but part of me really enjoy the comfort of routines and being around familiarity.

but I think now is a good time to embrace the part of me that wants to travel and explore! I'm getting pretty excited and nervous at the same time.

It's still like 5 months away but now that I've booked my flight I'm very excited for our trip to Montreal (& hopefully Quebec City) this year!

went to this great deli restaurant when we were visiting Portland.  loved visiting Portland.  what a great city with the street cars, food carts, and great restaurants and stores. 

 and most places have happy hour so this amazing Reuben slider was only $6! (and no tax).  plus it was so tasty.

 J had this huge burger with the patty and pastrami.

they had an entire list of just root beer.

some of the best coffee I've had.  all in portland! 

loved the cute Sterling Coffee Rosters coffee joint we went to.  they had this really old fancy looking coffee roaster that they still used to make the small batches.

1. Spend time to read 5 books this year.
2. Volunteer.
3. Exercise once a week.
4. spend a weekend in Victoria
