first time trying dry aged prime striploin steaks.

spoiling ourselves. and they were soooo good.

had dinner out on the balcony - enjoying the nice weather and some music :)

also had to eat outside since the entire place was smoky from cooking on the cast iron pan.

French toast with Brie

Brunch at a golf course we drove by last week. Loved the Brie with the cinnamon French toast. Would have been even better if it was a bit "toasted" on the outside. Would love to have weekend brunch everyday.

Catch 122

 Brunch is definitely one of my favourite meals. 

tried Catch 122 on a sunny weekend afternoon.

would have liked my poached egg a little runnier but otherwise, it was delicious.

Kenny & Zukes

went to this great deli restaurant when we were visiting Portland.  loved visiting Portland.  what a great city with the street cars, food carts, and great restaurants and stores. 

 and most places have happy hour so this amazing Reuben slider was only $6! (and no tax).  plus it was so tasty.

 J had this huge burger with the patty and pastrami.

they had an entire list of just root beer.

Hops and malt

Trying out some home-brew! The process was definitely more work than we thought. Well Jay did most of the work : p and the entire room smelled of hoppy goodness. 2 weeks and we can try out the IPA!

sezmu beef rice burgers.  I couldn't really tell the difference w/ these wine-fed cow patties but they were delicious nonetheless!

loved the cute Sterling Coffee Rosters coffee joint we went to.  they had this really old fancy looking coffee roaster that they still used to make the small batches.
