summer for a day

it was only really hot and sunny for Sunday but we made the most out of it and had lunch on the patio at Timbre (I had Elk and it was interesting..), walked around a park trail, and had cold beer and sushi for dinner.

hammock

this is awesome.  i love traditional hammocks but where am I supposed to find two trees that are spaced apart at the right distance for me to hang it on??  but then these things apparently costs $23,000 so I might as well start planting the two trees for my hammock.

Symphony in the Park

VSO concert in the pouring rain.

we got soaked but it was still a lot of fun.. and lots of laughing. would have been really nice if it was sunny out but that's okay.. the company and the music was excellent :)

I liked their brunch food better than their dinner dishes though.
