cheese fondue

 first time trying some cheese fondue at gundrun. 

 it was windy Sunday evening and it was dark by 4pm but got to walk around Steveston a bit before everything closed.  and browsed in a used bookstore where the books were just stacked on top on each other in piles all around the store.  was a bit worried I would knock everything over but found 2 used books to take with me on my trip.  Then warmed up with the cheese fondue and wine.

 yumm.  this was a nice little place kind of hidden in the back from the main street.  the cheese fondue was good but also very rich and heavy.  good thing for the charcuterie plate and the wine to balance all that cheese :)

16 days till vacation!

getting excited for my 1 month-long vacation!

before that it'll be busy, busy, busy.
tons of errands to do and some holiday parties to attend :)
and some Christmas shopping to do before I leave.

Free outdoor concerts and one of my favourite bands - Stars.  Love. 

this city is awesome.  

but can't wait to get away for a month as well! can't wait to visit my sister & family.
